Parcel 1- The office and conference center.

This offering consists of one 60' diameter dome and 4+/- acres of land. The building has been used as an office for the operations of Peter Kelly for almost 20 years. This interior has been finished with offices, bathrooms, workshops, storage and meeting areas. This dome sits atop a large basement which has an outside entry. The dome has central heat and air, skylights and is primarily laid out for an office but could be converted into a residence. The included land is typically wooded with varying topography and suitable for additional buildings. The property has a dedicated well for water with another on the property indicated on the survey. Because this property is actively used as an office, it will require a 90 day closing period to enable the occupants to relocate. The asking price is $315,000.


Parcel 2-The Chapel

This parcel is located on a proposed 1 acre parcel of land. It has a 3/5 sphere 30' diameter monolithic dome which is estimated to be 10 years old. It was used as a chapel and meeting center and thus has no interior walls or plumbing but has electricity and carpeting. The lot has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valley. The dome is built on top of what is described as a 88,000 gallon cistern. The specifications of this cistern as written by Peter Kelly include that it is 22 ft. in diameter, 33 feet high inside, has 44 courses of blocks with 55 blocks per course, 40 yards of concrete in the footer, 35 yards of fiber grout in the blocks and almost 1 mile of rebar in the walls. The cistern was reportedly built to harness an energy vortex which is believed to exist in the area. More practical uses may include additional living area, water storage or ??? The dome appears to be in good condition and could be converted into a home, office or used as storage. The asking price is $60,000.

Parcel 3-Storage domes/building site

This parcel is approximately 3 acres and has two 30' diameter monolithic domes which were built primarily for storage. One has an upper floor and electricity and the other is an empty shell. Neither have plumbing. There is also a 16X20 block building on the site which has plumbing and electricity. There are 2 septic systems and 2 potential building sites, one of which has a very nice view, on the property. The site has access to a community well for water (tap-on fee required). The property needs some TLC and final clean up but it has great potential for a dome or conventional home site. The domes could be finished as residences to make a unique home. Parcel 4-The Farside Cottages

This parcel consists of approximately 4 acres and four 30' diameter monolithic domes. They have historically been used as the residence of Peter Kelly and as seasonal as well as year-round rentals. Each is fully finished with skylights and in-wall heat and air. They are located side by side on a paved street near the entrance of the Farside Community with room for expansion. They appear in good, livable condition. Two are currently occupied and the rent is typically $500-$600 per month (seasonal rates are higher). The cabin have slightly varying layouts but all are 2 bedroom and one bath with a loft/office area. They are estimated to be about 1200 square feet. This parcel has a community well that serves the cabins and other domes in the community. The new buyer will be required to maintain the well system and provide an adequate and safe supply of water to those currently on and those granted permission to tap onto the system. The system has had substantial recent service with additional preventive maintenance planned for the near future. Each home on the system pays a monthly service charge to offset periodic costs associated with its operation. The domes are about 10 years old and are “overbuilt” according to those familiar with the project.
